Wart Causes

Looking at Wart Causes. There is nothing more unseemly than waking up one day and noticing a wart on your body. The sight of such a tumor on the skin can definitely have a person frantically dialing a dermatologist in order to have it removed. However, there are those that will go into a panic wondering if the wart is a sign of a serious condition or disease. Actually, a wart is a benign problem and the minute someone realizes common wart causes, such panic will dissipate. So, what are the common wart causes? Here is a brief overview:

The most common wart causes are the result of a viral infection. Specifically, the wart causes are spread by the human papilloma virus or HPV. Actually, the use of the word virus in the singular may not be the most accurate way to describe it as there are well over 100 strains of the virus in existence. Different people will react differently to their exposure to the virus and some will be more susceptible to certain strains that others. But, in all cases, it is contact and infection from the HPV virus that is at the root of all wart causes.

Warts are commonly transmitted from person to person. Often, the ability to catch a wart will increase if there has been a tear in the skin. So, someone who has suffered a cut of some sort will probably experience wart growth if he is exposed to someone who may be carrying the HOV virus. These are among the most common of wart causes, but a break in the skin is not mandatory for the wart to actually develop. But, in general, these are the most common of wart causes.
